For the dogs I think the best feature would be the two kinds of memory foam that make it such a comfortable sleep. The first type of foam is soft and forms to the shape of the animals body. Apparently this helps to take pressure off of joints and muscles that tend to get sore in older or arthritic dogs. The second type of foam is a much tougher ‘hard’ foam that supports the weight of even a large sized dog. The two are combined to make a super foam mattress that dogs seem to take comfort in.

This Orthopedic Bed never gets soiled!

The Dogpedic sleeping system also comes with a waterproof liner so that any messes that happen to get on it do not soak into the memory foam! That’s what I was worried about when I found out that it was made of foam. One of the first things that popped into my ‘experienced’ mind was ‘what a MESS that will be after a few weeks!’. But then I found out that there was in fact a waterproof lining between the foam and the suede cover, and all of it is removable for easy cleaning. PHEW!!

Puppies are different from humans – we should not set out immediately and tell them what’s wrong and mete out the resulting punishment. Every puppy needs a chance to learn on its own, to develop a sense of right and wrong through positive reinforcement.

If you wish that your puppy does the right thing at an early age, avoid saying, or even worse, shouting the word “No” and hitting the puppy. Repeating exercises is a much better way to go about showing a puppy that he or she made a mistake. Do not hold back rewards for partially performed behaviors – reward your puppy whenever he or she does something right, no matter how small it is.

Let us cite an example. You find that your expensive shoes have been chewed up by your puppy. Most dog owners would panic and yell “Nooooo!”, but this is a pitfall that would lead to this consequence.

The first possibility is that your dog would cower in panic and realize that developing permanent teeth shouldn’t be done in your presence. But this will only lead to your puppy repeating the action when you are not at home or in its presence. Take note that your dog didn’t mean anything wrong – it was just following its best judgment.

NO ripe tomatoes are not toxic to Dogs. Eating a Ripe Tomato will not make your dog sick.

WARNING – some sites and some people say green tomatoes and the leaves and vines are toxic but I did not find that on the ASPCA site or the Dr. Fosters and Smith site  . And they are authorities. But I would avoid giving your dog green tomatoes and don’t let them eat tomato plants. just to be safe.

BUT if your dog is acting sick then He my have eaten something that is making him sick so don’t ignore it!

When in doubt ask a professional (Your vet or even an online vet) and give them the symptoms.

Tomato is a member of the nightshade family and as such it is expected to have some toxic effects when consumed.
